BAFTA award-winning radio and television is what CPL does – and they rightly want to boast about that. Putting their work online for the world to see is one way to do that – but in order to do it with the proper impact they required a particular kind of website. A few brochure pages to click through wouldn’t be dynamic enough; a lengthy showreel insufficiently interactive. A portfolio-style site better fit the bill.
We led CPL through the various options, and how these would impact upon the final design. We helped them select a content management system – in their case, the endlessly customisable WordPress platform – that would enable them to update the website regularly with their latest excellent work. And we build it all so that it would look great on mobile, on desktop and on tablets. After all, a media company needs to look its best at all times.
Good design is about matching function with form.
